1. Temporary people speak with permanent confidence.
Some people walk into your life for a season and act like they’ve read your whole book. They judge you off a moment, not your journey.
2. Hurt people edit your story wrong.
People who are angry, jealous, or insecure will rewrite your character to match how they feel — not who you actually are.
3. Reaction can make their version real.If you move emotionally, trying to defend yourself to everyone, you end up living inside their narrative instead of your own.
4. Time exposes who was temporary.
A lot of opinions don’t age well. People disappear, but the damage only sticks if you keep carrying it.
5. You’re the author — act like it.
Not everyone deserves a pen in your story. Some people are just passing
scenes.
